Match Report | St. Louis CITY SC Earns Three Points at Energizer Park with 3-1 Win Over Toronto FC

St. Louis CITY SC defeated Toronto FC 3-1 on Saturday night at Energizer Park. Carlo Holse opened the scoring in the 38th minute, finding the back of the net for his third consecutive goal scored at Energizer Park. CITY SC carried its 1-0 advantage into halftime before Tomas Totland doubled the lead in the 54th minute off Alex Mățan’s second assist of the night, and fifth in nine appearances for St. Louis. Simon Becher added a third goal in the 68th minute, finishing off Conrad Wallem’s second assist in the match. The goal marked CITY SC’s 15th scored in its last five consecutive matches. St. Louis extended their unbeaten streak to 18 consecutive matches across all competitions. 

St. Louis CITY SC will travel to Sports Illustrated Stadium for the first time in club history to face Red Bull New York on Saturday, September 26. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. CT.
