In-season tournaments happening this spring and summer

As St. Louis CITY SC continues its inaugural season in Major League Soccer, the club will also compete two in-season tournaments: the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup and Leagues Cup. Tickets for both competitions will go on sale through seatgeek.com.

“Ticket demand for our inaugural MLS season has been high, so the Leagues Cup and U.S. Open Cup give our fans more opportunities to see the club compete at CITYPARK,” said Edmound Elzy, St. Louis CITY SC’s Vice President of Ticket Sales and Service. “We are excited to host these two tournaments and continue to show the world what St. Louis CITY SC is made of and welcome international soccer fans to St. Louis, especially when we host Club América, which has one of the largest fan bases in North America.”

Leagues Cup
This Concacaf tournament includes all 47 teams from MLS and Liga MX, Mexico’s top professional league. Both leagues will take a pause in their respective seasons to compete. In a World Cup-style tournament, the two teams that reach the Leagues Cup Final as well as the team that wins the third-place match will earn berths to the 2024 Concacaf Champions League, with the winner automatically advancing to that tournament's Round of 16.

Leagues Cup will be held from July 21 to August 19, with all 77 matches being played in the United States or Canada.

CITY SC is in the Central 1 Group alongside 2020 MLS Cup Champions Columbus Crew and 13-time league champion Club América. Group stage matches are July 23 vs. Columbus Crew at Lower.com Field, and July 27 vs. Club América at CITYPARK.
