New Restaurant Partners join CITYPARK’s 100% Local In-Stadium Food Program

Mobile Order-Ahead Expands; Allergen-Free and Kids Meals Options Now Available

St. Louis CITY SC’s acclaimed 100% local in-stadium food experience is raising the bar again in 2024.  Today, the club introduced exciting additions to its CITY Flavor program, including new STLMade food partners reflective of the region’s diverse culinary scene. The club also is adding dedicated stands that feature allergen-free and kid-friendly menu items.

“Last season, fans showed up early and often at CITYPARK to support over 25 local restaurants serving up the most diverse and delicious menu in sports,” said St. Louis CITY SC’s Chief Experience Officer Matt Sebek. “Getting dinner at CITYPARK has become a matchday ritual and fans love seeing their favorite neighborhood chefs and restaurants around the stadium while also discovering new ones along the way.”

CITY Flavor had a major impact on local businesses in 2023, driving over $3.5 million in revenue for its food partners. In a postseason survey, more than half of fans stated they visited brick-and-mortars after eating at a restaurant inside CITYPARK.

CITY SC again worked with James Beard Award-winning chef and Chief Flavor Officer Gerard Craft to curate the CITY Flavor experience. New STLMade restaurant partners for 2024 are: Olive + Oak, Olio, Sunday Best, Seoul Taco, Saucy Porka, Donut Drive-In and Medina Mediterranean Grill. Some of their menu highlights include the O+O burger from Olive + Oak, hummus and chicken shawarma from Olio, fried chicken sandwiches from Sunday Best, and burritos with kimchi rice from Seoul Taco.

These new partners join an esteemed collection of returning partners, including: Amighettis, Anthonino’s Taverna, Balkan Treat Box, BEAST Craft BBQ Co., Bold Spoon Creamery, Brass Burger, Dewey’s Pizza, Farmtruk, Ices Plain & Fancy, Kaldi’s Coffee, Malinche, Mayo Ketchup, Padrinos Mexican Restaurant, Pastaria, Pie Guy Pizza, Steve’s Hot Dogs, The Fattened Caf, Union Loafers and Wally’s.

Following fan feedback throughout the season, CITYPARK also will be adding dedicated stands serving kid meals, allergen-free menu items and added capacity for non-alcoholic beverage as well as coffee-based drinks and cocktails. CITY also has tapped renowned mixologist Ted Kilgore from Planter’s House to create a range of specialty matchday cocktails for premium areas of CITYPARK.

“We’re thrilled with our inaugural launch of CITY Flavor, but we’ll never be satisfied with status quo,” adds Sebek. “Season Two is a reflection of amazing feedback from our fans and provides more options that continue to elevate our experience beyond a typical sports venue.”

Mobile adoption was also a big part of the CITYPARK experience in 2023, which saw over 20% of sales come from the CITY app. Fans can skip concession lines and utilize mobile order-ahead for over 15 CITY Flavor partners (up from nine last season). This year, fans also will be able to pay at the checkout-free markets (featuring Anthonino’s, Pie Guy and Wally’s) using the CITY app. Last season, these checkout-free markets – a first in St. Louis and Major League Soccer – saw an average transaction time of 59 seconds.

Fans should download the STL CITY SC app, available in the App Store or on Google Play, and tap CITY GO to order food from their seats and pick up at the partner’s stand. The app also features a stadium map to discover locations of food partners.

Fans can enjoy CITY Flavor 2.0 beginning Tuesday, Feb. 20, when CITY SC competes in Round One of the Concacaf Champions Cup with a match versus Houston Dynamo. CITY SC then welcomes Real Salt Lake to CITYPARK on Saturday, Feb. 24, the team’s first match of the MLS regular season. CITY SC’s 2024 schedule is available at www.stlcitysc.com.
