CITY2 opened training camp on January 22
St Louis CITY2 announced its preseason schedule ahead of the 2024 MLS NEXT Pro season. The team’s preseason camp is highlighted by a ten-day trip to Port St. Lucie, Florida, that includes training and a pair of friendlies ahead of the 2024 season.
CITY2 will train from January 22 through February 9, with three off days in between, before hosting USL League One side Union Omaha at Washington University Orthopedics High Performance Center on February 10. On the following Monday, the team will travel to Port St. Lucie, Florida, to begin a ten-day trip that features friendlies against Rush Select Academy on Feb. 16 and against Inter Miami II on Feb. 21.
After returning to St. Louis, CITY2 will train from Feb. 24 through March 1 before facing off against USL Championship team Memphis 901 on Saturday, March 2, at Washington University Orthopedics High Performance Center. Following the match, the team will have a pair of off days and then resume training on March 5, rounding out its preseason schedule with an in-market match against USL League One side Forward Madison FC on Saturday, March 9.
