CITY2 looks to bounce back after seeing seven-match unbeaten streak snapped
After tasting defeat for the first time in seven games last weekend against Colorado Rapids 2, St. Louis CITY2 (9-3-2, 30 points) are back on the road to face Minnesota United FC 2 (6-4-3, 24 points). Minnesota United FC 2 put on a strong performance in Week 15, shutting out Whitecaps FC 2 at home. The team sits in sixth place in the standings, just three points off the playoff spot with a game in hand. When the two teams faced off earlier in the season, Minnesota earned a 4-0 win, handing CITY2 their first loss after the team played 120 minutes in their U.S. Open Cup match against Louisville City FC a few days earlier.
