St. Louis CITY SC earned a point at home to extend their unbeaten streak to 13 matches across all-competitions after battling FC Dallas to a 3-3 draw on Sunday Night Soccer. Simon Becher opened the scoring early with a goal in the fourth minute, marking his fourth goal in four consecutive matches. FC Dallas’ Shaq Moore equalized in the 18th minute, but Daniel Edelman restored CITY SC’s lead before halftime, netting his career-high third goal in the 43rd minute. Carlo Holse added CITY SC’s third goal after the halftime break, scoring his first career MLS goal for St. Louis. Dallas leveled the match late, with Sebastien Ibeagha scoring in the 81st minute and an equalizer from Logan Farrington in the seventh minute of second-half stoppage time.
St. Louis will travel to BC Place to face Vancouver Whitecaps on Saturday, September 5 with kickoff set for 9:30 p.m. CT.
