Last Time Out
St. Louis CITY SC suffered a 2-1 defeat to the Portland Timbers last weekend at Providence Park. CITY SC controlled much of the first half, outshooting Portland nine to five. Akil Watts opened the scoring early in the second half with his first career MLS goal, but the Timbers responded just five minutes later to level the match. Portland then netted the winner in second-half stoppage time. The loss marked the first time CITY SC left Providence Park without a point since their inaugural 2023 season.

St. Louis CITY SC vs LA Galaxy
This marks the second and final regular season clash between CITY SC and the LA Galaxy. St. Louis earned a dominant 3-0 shutout win in their first meeting back in March at Dignity Health Sports Park, with Cedric Teuchert, Marcel Hartel, and Simon Becher each netting their first goals of the season. All-time, CITY SC holds a 2-0-3 record against the Galaxy and remains unbeaten in the last five matchups. Teuchert and Hartel have both scored twice in the series, contributing to CITY SC’s total of 11 goals against LA in regular season play.

Scouting LA Galaxy

LA currently sits at the bottom of the Western Conference with seven points and a 1-12-4 record. The team remains winless on the road this season, posting a 0-7-2 record away from home.
