With all four teams in play over the weekend, St. Louis CITY Academy posted another successful round of results with a combined record of 3-2-1. The U-15s, U-16s and U-17s played their final League matches of the season, while the UPSL side competed in their seventh match of a nine-game campaign.

U-15s split their weekend matches

To open the weekend, the U-15s battled Columbus Crew Academy, with defender Bijan Champagne netting a goal, but the team could not come away with points in a 2-1 defeat. The floodgates opened the following day against FC Cincinnati Academy, though, as the U-15s poured in five goals in a commanding 5-2 effort against their hosts. Forward Stone Marion had three (3) goals and forward Graydon Lewis had two (2) goals in the win.

U-16s knock off Indiana Fire Academy to remain undefeated

In their lone match of the weekend, the U-16s traveled to Westfield, Indiana, for a clash with Indiana Fire Academy. It was a tight contest, but the boys came out on top 3-2 thanks to goals from midfielder Colton Garofalo, forward Nathaniel Nulland midfielder Jack Dimaria. With the win, the U-16s are now one of just five remaining unbeaten teams at the U-16 level.

U-17s emerge from weekend with division crown

Despite tough competition keeping the U-17s off the board over the weekend, the boys grinded out a point to lock up first place in the U-17 Central (North) Division. After dropping their opening match of the weekend 2-0 to Columbus Crew Academy, the U-17s drew FC Cincinnati Academy 0-0 the following day to pick up a point and claim the division title.

UPSL scorching hot in eight-goal masterclass

After a tough two-game stretch, the UPSL team returned to form with a win in their rout of Nashville Now Soccer 365 this past weekend. Three UPSL players found the back of the net in a match that finished with an 8-1 scoreline, including four (4) goals from forward Nathan Ferguson and braces from both forward Adam Boykin and midfielder Akwasi Douglas.
