CITY Futures Information
The CITY Futures Program is part of our effort to introduce more people in St. Louis to the game of soccer. It’s always free, and open to children in the area who are curious about the game and want to improve their skills on and off the pitch.
Ways To Get Involved
We currently offer two unique opportunities, Soccer 101 Popup Clinics and Way To Play Sessions. Both offer a free way to get involved in soccer at a young age, regardless of experience in sport.
Soccer 101 Sessions
One-time soccer sessions that introduce the sport of soccer
Give your kids a fun introduction to soccer at Central Fields in Forest Park.
Soccer 101 Sessions are a great way to learn the basics in a fun, open environment for those new to the sport. If you’re familiar with soccer, these sessions are another opportunity to enjoy the beautiful game. Click here to register!
Way To Play Sessions
Weekly sessions that dive deeper into the game
Join us at one of our weekly Way To Play Sessions at CITY SC satellite locations throughout the St. Louis area. Click here to register!
St. Louis CITY Cup
Many parents have been asking us about a tournament during the last few weeks. We are following your desire and will start with the St. Louis CITY Cup.
The ultimate goal is to compete with players from all over the CITY and gain competitive experience while having fun playing the game! Our methodology is special – we are not playing neighborhood against neighborhood – in our CITY Cup, players from all over town will get to know the other kids from all other locations and form a mixed team with them! What a great opportunity to meet, compete and play with other kids and learn from each other – to become a better player and for their future life!
The 16 kids from each satellite location with the highest attendance rates will qualify for the STL CITY Cup. The STL CITY Cup will be held at the end of August and again at the end of October.
These sessions are an extension of the St Louis CITY Academy. We take a holistic approach to help guide and support players from a young age to succeed not only in soccer, but in academics, their personal lives, and their future careers. As our community coaches teach technical and physical skills and tactical principles, we’re also committed to support character and personality development to better serve our players in sport and in life.
If you are already playing in a club, you can join our advanced groups to receive additional training once per week. In the age groups U12 and U14 we offer special training for more advanced players.
