St Louis CITY2 dominated from start to finish to capture a 2-0 win over Real Monarchs on Saturday at Ralph Korte Stadium. CITY2 is unbeaten in their last seven games, boosting their record to 9-2-2.

After recovering the ball from a corner kick, Kwame Awuah whipped in a pinpoint cross finding Kyle Hiebert who volleyed home his first professional goal to give CITY2 the lead in the 11th minute. Following the goal, the Monarchs searched for the equalizer but was denied by Michael Creek who recorded three saves in the first half.
