As part of the community-wide call to action to support tornado relief and recovery, St. Louis CITY SC is donating 100% of the proceeds from the club’s upcoming MLS NEXT Pro CITY2 match on Friday, May 23 against Portland Timbers2 at 7:00 PM at Energizer Park.
STL CITY SC CEO Carolyn Kindle expressed her heartfelt concerns and commitment to a community still recovering from last week’s tornado: "We know this is a time of great devastation, but also an important moment for our community to support one another. We are grateful to be part of the city’s larger tornado relief efforts, for both the immediate and long-term recovery of the effected neighborhoods.”
In addition to the donation of match proceeds, CITY SC staff will volunteer on Friday, May 23, providing their time and additional donations to support affected families. This collective effort underscores St. Louis CITY SC's dedication to not only bringing the community together through soccer, but also making a tangible difference in the lives of those impacted by this natural disaster.
Join us at Energizer Park on May 23rd for an evening of soccer and solidarity. Together, we can make a significant impact and offer much-needed support to our neighbors in their time of need.
CITY fans unable to make it to Energizer Park are encouraged to support the regions recovery efforts by either volunteering or donating to one of the following organizations: American Red Cross of Missouri, City of St. Louis Tornado Response Fund, St. Louis Community Foundation Disaster Relief Fund, United Way, and Urban League.
Tickets for the match are available at SeatGeek.com.
