St Louis CITY2 extended their unbeaten streak to seven matches with a 2-1 comeback win at Sporting KC II. Kansas City got on the board early in the fifth minute with a goal from Tega Ikoba. CITY2 found the equalizer through Zach Zengue, who scored the first of his two goals on the night in the 24th minute off assists from Tyson Pearce and Patrick McDonald. The match remained tied at 1-1 through halftime. Zengue scored his second goal in the 58th minute off assists from Nighte Pickering and McDonald, giving St. Louis the 2-1 lead. CITY2 maintained the lead through the final whistle to earn their tenth win of the season and move into fifth place in the Western Conference standings with 43 points. 

CITY2 will travel to face Portland Timbers2, next Monday, September 14, for their final away match of the season. Kickoff is set for 3:00 p.m. CT at Providence Park.
