St. Louis CITY SC defeated New York City FC 2-0 in their second MLS match of the season. CITY SC took the lead through Célio Pompeu who dribbled past two defenders before slotting home his first goal of the season in 35th minute. Pompeu got in on the action again in the second half providing the assist to Sam Adeniran’s goal in the 72nd minute.
