St. Louis CITY SC hosts LAFC in a midweek matchup this Wednesday at CITYPARK. The match kicks off at 7:30 p.m. CT and will be streamed on MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app. Fans can also listen via radio on KYKY Y98.1 FM (English) and KXOK 102.9 FM (Spanish).

The match will mark the third time the clubs face off with LAFC currently leading the series with a 1-0-1 record. The last time the teams met at CITYPARK, the match ended in a goalless draw.

Last Saturday, CITY SC defeated Chicago Fire FC 3-1 to extend their unbeaten streak to five matches. St. Louis came out the gates flying with Rasmus Alm opening the scoring within the first two minutes (1 minute and 24 seconds), the fastest goal in CITY SC history. Forward Klauss continued his great run of form scoring a brace (his third for St. Louis) to take his tally to five goals this season. Célio Pompeu, Chris Durkin and Tomáš Ostrák also notched their second assists of the season in the win.

Across CITY SC’s fourteen all-time MLS wins at home, the team has scored three or more goals in ten of those contests. CITY SC recorded their 14th game with at least three goals since the start of the 2023 season, the most in MLS over the span. Since 2023, CITY SC is 13-0-2 when scoring at least three goals across all competitions.

CITY SC continued their undefeated streak at CITYPARK this season, moving to 3-0-3 at home in MLS play and 4-0-3 at home across all competitions. St. Louis is just one of three teams this season that has not lost a match at home (New York Red Bulls & LAFC). Following Columbus Crew’s 2-1 loss to FC Cincinnati, CITY SC is the only team in the league with just one loss.

In six home matches, St. Louis has scored nine goals and conceded four. CITY SC goalkeeper Roman Bürki has nine shutouts and 69 saves all-time at CITYPARK. After his brace last match, Klauss leads the team in goals at CITYPARK.

LAFC comes into the match with a win on Saturday night, defeating Vancouver Whitecaps 3-0 after facing a 3-1 loss to their rivals San Jose Earthquakes on May 4. LAFC has accrued 18 points, scored 22 goals, conceded 19 and sits in fifth place in the Western Conference with a record of 5-4-3. LAFC are yet to win an away match this season, losing four of their five road matches so far. Denis Bouanga leads LAFC in goals (six) and assists (five).
