St. Louis brings its 13-match unbeaten streak across the border to face Vancouver Whitecaps FC on Saturday, September 5, at BC Place. Kickoff is set for 9:30 p.m. CT, with the match available to watch on Apple TV.

CITY SC tied FC Dallas 3-3 last Sunday at Energizer Park, extending the club’s unbeaten streak to 13 matches across all-competitions. Simon Becher continued his red-hot scoring streak, scoring for the fourth consecutive match just four minutes into the contest. Shaq Moore equalized for Dallas in the 18th minute, but Daniel Edelman gave CITY a 2-1 lead before halftime. Carlo Holse scored his first goal for the club and his first in MLS in the 64th minute, making it 3-1, but Dallas scored twice in the final 10 minutes to split points. Sunday’s draw tied CITY SC for the fifth-longest MLS unbeaten streak at 12 matches. 

St. Louis CITY SC vs. Vancouver Whitecaps FC 

Saturday’s match will be the first meeting of the season between the two sides. Both teams enter the match in playoff positions, with the Whitecaps in first place and CITY SC in sixth in the Western Conference standings. St. Louis is looking for their first-ever win at BC Place. CITY faced Vancouver twice in 2025, drawing 0-0 at Energizer Park in April and falling 3-2 on the road in August, with Eduard Löwen and João Klauss scoring. St. Louis’ only win against Vancouver came at home on May 27, 2023, with a 3-0 shutout featuring goals from Eduard Löwen, an own goal from Tristan Blackmon, and Miguel Perez’ first career MLS goal.  

Scouting Vancouver Whitecaps FC 

Vancouver Whitecaps holds a 13-4-4 record with 43 points and enters Saturday’s match coming off a 3-0 win at Sporting KC. Vancouver has shut out its opponents in three of its last five matches. At BC Place this season, Vancouver is 8-2-1, with its only two losses coming against San Jose in March and Houston in August. The Whitecaps played their first leg of the Canadian Championship semi-final on Wednesday night against CF Montréal, tying 1-1. U.S. international Brian White leads the team with 13 goals, while defender Édier Ocampo has a team-leading seven assists.
