OUR MISSION

Together with Missouri Youth Soccer Association we aim to provide coaching education to support coaches throughout the St. Louis Metropolitan area.

TARGET GROUP

CITY Community coaches, club coaches, coaches from our partner organizations, basically everyone that wants to improve their coaching abilities to better care for their players.

CONTENT

During the next 4 years we are offering 48 training sessions (theory & practice, 90min each) that deal with the following topics:

1/26: Focus & Mindfulness (St. Mary's High School) *5-9PM
Impact on performance: Improve players’ ability to focus on a specific task, improve their readiness, overall concentration, and act in a mindful way in the sports environment.REGISTER

2/23: Goal-Setting (SLUH) 5-9PM
Impact on performance: Learn how setting realistic and challenging goals can contribute to player development in soccer.

4/5: Rhythm (TBA) 5-9PM
Impact on individual performance: Stimulate the players’ ability to move their body in a more rhythmic way and improve their coordination.

4/26: Passing (TBA) 5-9PM
Impact on performance: Improve different passing techniques for short, medium, and long-range passes in different exercises and small games, and learn about the different moments when to use which technique.

5/31: Offensive Cover (Bayless High School) 5-9PM
Impact on performance: Learn about the tactical principle of offensive cover to help teammates to always have an additional option.

6/28: Defensive Tactics (TBA) 5-9PM
Impact on Performance: Find the right position to effectively work together with your teammate and cover other defenders that are trying to win the ball from the opponent.

8/30: Balance (Washington University High Performance Center) 5-9PM
Impact on performance: Slow down the opposing attack by delaying the ball carrier of the opposing team to get support from your teammates.

9/27: Catching (TBA) 5-9PM
Impact on performance: Learn different catching techniques and identify the right situations to use the different techniques.

10/25: Conflict Management (TBA) 5-9PM
Impact on performance: Help players to solve conflicts in a peaceful and constructive way. Teams that know how to mediate and work through those situations will improve their team spirit and togetherness due to a more respectful way of dealing with each other.

11/22: Kinesthetic Differentiation (TBA) 5-9PM
Impact on performance: Help players to improve all soccer specific techniques to achieve ultimate precision and accuracy of actions in game situations.
